Since UBM, organizer of the September Hong Kong Jewelry & Gem Fair and other leading jewellery events in Asia, assumed ownership of the Japan Jewellery Fair in 2006 the number of exhibitors and visitors has doubled. The fair is now the leading event in Japan for the second half of the year and in 2009 attracted 360 exhibitors from 18 countries and was attended by 14,898 quality buyers.

In 2010 Japan Jewelry Fair will be held during the first week of September, the optimum dates for both Japanese retailers as well as international professional buyers. Taking place in Tokyo in early autumn, JJF is ideally timed for stock purchasing ahead of year-end season by retailers and wholesalers.
